The agent, right in your editor.
Read your project, edit files and run commands from a side panel in Visual Studio Code, powered by your Unlimited Claud account. Install it from a single .vsix file.
Unlimited Claud Agent
SHA-256: …
Ready in four steps
-
Download the file
Click the download button above and keep the .vsix file somewhere you can find it.
-
Install it in VS Code
Open the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X), click the “…” menu at the top right of the panel, choose “Install from VSIX…” and pick the file. Or run this command from the folder containing the file:
code --install-extension unlimited-claud-agent.vsix -
Open your project
Open a folder in VS Code, then click the Unlimited Claud icon in the activity bar to open the agent panel.
-
Sign in
Use your username and password from the site on your first message. An account created only with Google has no password yet. Optional: add a premium key with the command “Unlimited Claud: Enter a premium key” (Ctrl+Shift+P).
What the agent can do
Understands your project
Lists folders, reads files and searches text across the workspace.
Edits with your approval
Every file creation or change shows a preview and waits for your confirmation.
Runs commands
Builds and tests from the panel, after you confirm each command.
Keeps secrets out
.env files, private keys and .git are never read or sent, and nothing leaves the open folder.
Good to know
Why does VS Code say the extension is not from the Marketplace?
It is installed from a file, not from the Marketplace, so it is not verified by Microsoft. Compare the SHA-256 shown above with the file you downloaded (PowerShell: Get-FileHash file.vsix).
How does it count against my quota?
Each step of the agent is one message of your daily quota. The free tier runs out quickly; a premium key gives a much higher limit.
Which model should I use?
Small free models follow the agent format poorly. With a premium key, set unlimitedClaud.model to llama-3.3-70b in the VS Code settings for much better results.
How do I update or remove it?
Download the new .vsix and install it the same way: it replaces the old version. To remove it, use the Extensions view and click Uninstall.
